Great Britain: Charnwood Forest Railway Company, £10 share, 1874, #1720, black. Incorporated on 16th July 1874. A standard gauge line connecting with the Midland Railway in two places. It was extended in 1876 to make a direct connection with the London and North Western and Midland Railways joint line, requiring additional capital. The line opened in 1883 after various deviations, worked by the London and North Western who took 50%. EF.
