New Zealand: Brunner Collieries Limited, pair of certificates for 2/- ordinary shares, #42, green and 2/- preference shares, #40, blue, both dated 19[12]. Owned the Brunner mine at Greymouth, Grey District, South Island. It was the scene of New Zealand's worst mining disaster where, in 1896, 65 miners were killed by an explosion underground. VF (2).
