We hold 8 timed auctions per year, 4 specialist auctions of bonds and shares and 4 more general auctions of world banknotes coins and cheques. Every listing is illustrated and is fully described with historical detail. To encourage collector participation we offer many individual items instead of grouped lots, however there are always lots that will appeal to our dealer colleagues.

Specialist collections are always welcome.
Our standard commission for selling is a flat 10% (plus VAT @ 20%) with no other hidden charges. Special rates are available for collections and larger value lots. Settlement to clients is made 21 days from the auction close date.

Buying at auction has never been easier. All of our auctions are online only using the timed system. If you register on our website www.veissidauctions.com there are NO extra fees for online bidding.

A buyers premium of 20% will be added to each lot. VAT @ 20% on the premium will only be charged to UK buyers making a total of 24%.

Lots marked with ** have been submitted from a vendor outside the UK and are subject to a 5% import VAT charge ONLY if they remain in the UK.

All lots are fully illustrated and there is usually much historical background. Condition is described using standard numismatic terminology but we are more than happy to answer any questions. Bids can be placed as soon as the auction is ‘live’ which is usually at least 15 days prior to closing. Bids made in the last minute will automatically extend the lot for a further minute to allow for more bids.

We handle most shipping in house and charge for postage at cost. Only large and heavy lots may be handled by a third party such as Mailboxes.

We accept payment by cheque, cash or bank transfer. Credit cards are accepted from buyers outside the UK and are subject to a small charge of 3%.

Lots can also be delivered in person at any of the  FAIRS that we attend throughout the year.
