U.S.A.: Cumberland River Estates Ltd., £1 ordinary shares, 189[6], #146, blue. Registered 30th April 1896 as a reconstruction of Cumberland Lands Limited which owned over 40,000 acres of land in Stewart and Houston Counties, Tennessee. The land was used for agriculture and forestry and to exploit the iron deposits. Built the 15 mile Tennessee and Cumberland River Railroad which it sold to an American company of that name in 1899.
