U.S.A.: American Austin Car Company Inc., a group of 16 temporary certificates for less than 100 shares, [1929], yellow. Incorporated in Delaware in 1929 to build the British Austin in Butler, Pennsylvania. The American public did not look favourably on this small car and the company was in receivership in 1932. The company limped on until 1937 when production ceased. Generally VF and better (16).
