Great Britain: Wilts, Somerset & Weymouth Railway Co., £50 share, 1845, #1547, black with red paper seal. Proposed by the Great Western Railway as the Wilts and Somerset Railway, to run between Corsham and Salisbury. The route was later extended to Weymouth (where the Bristol and Exeter line was planned to join) and other changes meant the line was not completed until being taken over by the Great Western in 1850.
