Incorporated in Alabama in 1928 to refinance the 350 room Thomas Jefferson Hotel in Birmingham Alabama, part f the Baker Chain of Hotels. Insolvent by 1935. The Hotel passed to new owners and fell into decline in the 1970’s and only opened as recently as 2017 as the Thomas Jefferson Tower of 100 apartments. VF (2).
