Great Britain: Wandsworth Bridge Company, £10 share, 186[5], #919, black. The first bridge was completed in 1873 and was of 5 span lattice-girder construction, as illustrated on the company seal. Built by J.H. Tolme, this bridge across the Thames was taken over by the Metropolitan Board of Works and made free of tolls, like many other London bridges, in 1880. It was replaced in 1940 by the present structure. VF, creased edges.
