New Zealand: Kauri Freehold Gold Estates Limited, 3d shares, 190[5], #358, black. Registered 28th February 1905 as a third reconstruction of a company of the same name. The original company owned 8000 acres in the Thames District and 28,000 acres in the Coromandel District. The company also owned a stamp mill and cyanide works and built a railway connecting the mines and laid out a township. The mine was shut down in 1902 and the company started to realise its assets. This company was formed to realise the remaining property. In voluntary liquidation 10th December 1908. VF.
