Great Britain: St.Albans High School for Girls Limited, £1 shares, 190[8], #24, signed by the 4th Earl of Verulam as council member, blue. The school was founded in 1889 in a converted hospital in Holywell Hill. This proved to be unsuitable and in 1908 new premises were acquired on Townsend Avenue and this company was formed for its acquisition. It still forms part of the campus of the school. Small tear at bottom edge, VF and rare.
