Borneo: Labuan and Borneo Limited, £1 shares, 189[9], #1710, black, Waterlow & Sons. Registered 23rd December 1897 as a reconstruction of the New Central Borneo Company Limited. The company owned exclusive rights over all minerals EXCEPT coal over 15,000 square miles in the Sultanate of Brunei, all minerals over 5,000 square miles in the Baram River District, Sarawak and rights over 30 square miles on the Island of Labuan. Receiver appointed and removed from register in 1903. VF.
