U.S.A.: Texas Star Flour Mills of Galveston, pair of certificates, the first one share of $500, 18[79], #29, pink and blue Texas Star over seal, allegorical female to left, the second $100 shares, 18[92], #47, vignette of very large flour mill in centre, green and black. The company was formed in Texas in 1878 and amended in 1888 when the shares were reduced from $500 to $100. Both certificates have been cancelled and both have glue residue at left. Pinholes, the first slightly ragged left edge, VF (2).
