U.S.A.: West Point Mill Company, South Carolina, $100 shares, Charleston 188[8], #8, mill building at top, black. This was the largest of Charleston's rice mills replacing a mill that burned down in 1860. Although the mill closed in 1920 the building has had a varied history and was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. Cancelled. VF.
