U.S.A.: LaFayette Motors Company, less than 100 shares, [1920], #B.O.513, blue. Formed in 1919 with Charles Nash at the helm to produce a luxury motor car in Indianapolis. Timing was not great as post war depression had set in and the company was soon reorganised as LaFayette Motors Corporation with Nash Motors as the largest shareholder. In 1923 the company was sold to Ajax Motors Company and the last LaFayettes came off the production line in 1924. VF.
